Hello everyone my name is Lizeth Muñoz and I am an aspiring high school Spanish teacher. For as long as I can remember education has been so important in my family, especially being a first generation college student. I’ve always admired good teachers, and those good teachers have led my path to where I am now. I love the beautiful Spanish language and I am so proud of my culture, my roots, and my identity, which is why I have decided to become a Spanish teacher.
When I was a little girl we would always play teacher with the neighborhood kids and somehow I always ended up being the teacher. Even at that age my peers always told me that I was patient and kind and that’s what they liked about me being the teacher. As I grew older I understood why these qualities were so important in a good teacher, I was lucky enough to have some amazing teachers throughout my education.
This website will allow me to not only start the beginning of my journey as a future educator but will also track my journey once I achieve that goal.
